Barber Sukhi

Born in Hertfordshire, UK, Sukhi graduated from The City and Guilds of London Art School in 1995. After completing the studies, she travelled to India for inspiration. The balance she found in the Indian art subsequently informed her own works. She spent next 12 years in Nepal's Kathmandu, where she studied Buddhist philosophy and created sculptures based on the traditional techniques (eg. lost wax bronze casting, soapstone carving).
