Jaroslav Chramosta

Jaroslav studied at VŠUP and in the sculpture studio of Jiří Beránek in Prague. During his studies he attended educational stays in Brno (with Michal Gabriel) and at University of Applied Sciences – Institute of Design in Lahti, as well as study visits to Egypt, the Philipinnes and South America.
Shark Fin
When looking at Chramost's work Shark in the Gulf, memories of Spielberg's famous film Jaws will surely come to mind, which at the time terrified audiences. The shark's fin, however, is made of concrete, so it is stable and not life-threatening.
