Trichodon

Steel

The steel objects combine abstraction and realism, because they react naturally to the space around them thanks to the properties of the stainless steel from which they are made. Depending on their internal shape, they mirror the surrounding world several times over with their constant movement, changes and rhythm. The work entitled Trichodon is the artist's largest public space realization to date.

Lukáš Rais

*1975

Studied at the Academy of Arts, Architecture and Design in Prague, in the Sculpture studio of Jiří Beránek, prof. Kurt Gebauer and Krištof Kintera. In his works he also uses knowledge gained during the studies of technical subjects: electrical engineering, mechanics as well as various industrial technological principles became the core defining the character of his creative output, where the spectator is invited into a world of "poetic industrialism".
