Fountain by railway station

Pardubice is a city located on the railroad, with the sounds of the trains seeming to determine its pulse. The Railway Station, its historical monumental protected functionalist building by architects Karel Řepa, Karel Kalvoda and Josef Danda with its illuminated hall and unforgettable mosaics, as well as the newly reconstructed presidential complex from the pen of the architectural studio Med Pavlik, form the entrance gate of the town; a place where newcomers get their first impressions and shape their minds like Gabriel’s Explorers. They cool their limbs and take long, courageous steps towards the city, further down Palackého Street.
