Lochotín

Lochotín is part of the Pilsen 1 district. The district was established in 1981 during the development of the new housing estates. Among the historical sights of the district are the medieval part Roudná with the Church of All Saints and the core of the former village Bolevec - Bolevecká náves (today village monument zone). Also significant is the new premises of the Pilsen University Hospital, which was built since 1979. The Lochotín Park is registered as a Significant Landscape Element and as part of the Horní Lochotín Monument Area. From the once famous resort of Pilsen, from the spas, only a few small reminders have remained, such as the Lochotín Pavilion (formerly used for spa procedures and for balls), the pavilion, the monument of Martin Kopecký or the seat at the well. Access to the park is a memorable alley Kilometrovka and also Lochotín alley with a once valuable white poplar tree.
