Tomáš Skála

Born in 1987 in Mariánské Lázně, he studied at Václav Hollar Art School and received his master's degree at Academy of Fine Arts in Prague. In 2011, he took an internship in Iceland. The topic of his work is search for identity in a world of growing entropy floods. There is a combination of attempts to update archetypes with references to mythical and romantic tendencies. The author is also active in projects involving design, architecture and sculptures in the public space. He is passionate about technology and likes to apply unconventional methods and materials.
