Pardubice Airport

The airport in Pardubice earlier served for military purposes, but has also been open for civilian traffic since 1995. It has been regularly used by travel agencies for holiday trips since 2000. The airport has been organizing aeronautical days with acrobatic groups and exhibiting replicas of historical and real aircraft since 1991. Now this event takes place regularly at the beginning of June. The era of aviation in Pardubice began with the famous pilot and designer Jan Kašpar, who made the first long-distance flight in Bohemia. Since then, aviation has undergone tremendous development and has become a regular part of our lives.
